Well, I've been studying Wicca for years. It always just felt right with me. I always liked the idea of being a Witch. I know it's not like the movies, but I still can't help being interested in it. I haven't totally committed to it yet, because I'm not sure if I want to be just one religion.
I am more of a spiritual person than a religious person. I believe different things from different religions. I don't think that it's fair for me to choose just one religion above all the others. I like all of them and then I don't like all of them, you know? There's certain things that I agree with and there's some things that I don't. That's why I haven't committed to a religion yet.
I know Wicca is the closest religion I've found that best suits me. It fits me just like an old glove. I know one day when I'm ready, it will still be waiting for me if I choose it as the start of my spiritual path. For right now, I have a lot to think about and deal with without trying to keep up with a religion.
So what's your take on religion? What path do you want to follow?

Mine is the path of the Therianthrope. I tried all the other religions and they were just downright odd. Honestly, I think that all religions may end up worshiping the same god but with different names. I think that would be a hilarious end to find out if you die fighting a religious war.

We are in a Religious war. One religion wants to convert all of us, or kill us. Sure, life may be easy and sweet now, but someday, you may die in a "Religious war" at your local Walmart. I have asked God into my life, but I choose to follow no religion. I don't need to be told what to believe, and from what I've seen of religions, most don't cut it. A personal relationship is what I want.

I would have to say I agree with all of you but most of all Randy. When i was little I took the path of the faithful Christian. Then as I was growing up I decided that I don't truly believe in any one religion. I would like to believe that there is some all mighty power who could make everyones problems disappear, but so far none has made itself known. Therefor I follow science and just think about things like what if there was a higher power? " I would be totally screwed" Andrea

I agree with all of you. I don't think any one religion is right and I also believe that we all have the same god anyways. Why have all these Wars going on about religion? That's another reason I decided not to choose a religion. It didn't feel right! I don't think you have to have a religion to believe that there's something out there that exists beyond just us.

Well I believe that religion can be an evil and sometimes can't be trusted. I sometimes feel that I shouldn't be a Christian when i don't really believe that what they say is real. In reality though i think the world would be better off if we didn't have to worry about religion, because if you think about it why are wars sometimes fought? There fought because some people don't have the same belief that another people has.

Which only brings around another point of religious wars. Evil is in the eye of the beholder. To each side, they are not evil, but the other one is. It's just a lack of communication and understanding. That's why aside from my having posted it here, I keep my therianthropic side to myself.

Without a belief in some higher power, who decides what is right and what is wrong? I'm not saying that you have to believe in "Religion" as we know it today, yet if you don't believe in any thing, who gives you the guidelines? I believe that "because some may have decided not to believe in anything except what makes them feel good" that is why we have rampant crime, we have child molesters, we have people killing because, who can tell them it's wrong?
If people don't have something to believe, to be the rock in their lives, then all is chaos. Look around. It's all coming apart. Will you be the next to let go??

Yes I see your point, so people should have a base beleif but the only reason I said my above statement was I was trying to think of a way to cut out the people who take thier relegion too seriously such as the Hezbalah and the KKK.

I don't think that the KKK is a religion. It's a klan and one that wasn't started to do what deeds they've done. I think most KKK members are Christian's from different protestant or Catholic churches.
