An excerpt from my book....
Doll Face By: Klark
Left only for the dead, Silence be her bloody thorn, Knotted strands atop her head, The ribbon is all but torn,
Body hidden underneath her dress, Full details of her secret scars, Still inside her sweet tenderness, Her beauty the pain could not mar,
She may be torn, She may be tattered, Her dress is worn, Her face is shattered,
Staring out of one blue eye, Trying to hide her cracked porcelain, There is a truth she can't deny, Perfection is found under her skin,
He gazed upon her sweet doll face, He smiled at her reflections, In his heart she'd found her place, Perfect for her imperfections.

I love this poem! You know my three favorites are Our Ocean, Doll Face, and TIN MAN!!! You should put that one in here. I finally got what it meant! I love Doll Face. It reminds me of someone I used to know, me. Good poem!
