The word "Vampire" should be used loosley in these terms though.
Draining energy is just something as humans that we just DO. We all give and take from each other daily...some, more than others, but we all do it. It's something that many people have learned to actually control though and that's where the whole "Vampire" term came to pass.
Any "draining" that can be done should be considered vampirism, meaning emotional, physical, etc. Sucking the life / emotions out of someone...good or bad.
I've studied all of this a lot...I have a thing for Vampires and for a long time even claimed to be one myself. Not a phase, but a place in life and I learned how to focus and use the energy needed to "drain" people of their energy...the downfall is that it's exhausting and somewhere down the line, you have to face the realism that it can also be done to you if your not careful.

I know I wasn't insulting the practice. I'm mostly talking about the bad ones. Because we all give and take energy from each other, but there are some that just "give energy" and some that just "take energy." There's nothing wrong with psychic/energy vampires. It's just when some (like this girl I know) only "take" and never "give." It creates a negative energy around that person. The same with when people only "give" and never "take." It creates a positive energy around them, but people need both the "give" and "take" aspects of it to make it a successful partnership. I hope I didn't offend or say any of this wrong! I respect the fact that there are those that use it wisely and don't take advantage of people with it. It kind of reminds me of "tantra" in a way. It has to do with lovers basically giving and taking energy to make the experience more on a personal and spiritual level. I hope I've made my point clear, lol.
