We've all grown up with heroes. Most of us still probably have one.
Mine is Ken Griffey Jr. I grew up a few hours from Seattle, and Ken Griffey was the big thing back when he played for the Mariners there. Everything Ken did, I wanted to do. He's the reason I have my love for sports these days, and I try to model myself after the sportsmanship that he and the Mariners orginization showed. Currently, Griffey plays for the Reds. He'll be retiring soon, but he'll always be my favorite player.
So, who is your hero?

Fictional, mine is Superman. I think almost every one knows that, but if you want someone who was/is real, it's definately Christopher Reeve. He fought some terrible circumstances all the way up to his death and he did so with a smile on his face. I hope that if anything ever happens to me, I have the strength to do that.

Nothing wrong with a fictional hero.

Well she's more of a person to look up to (idol) than a hero really. I don't really have a hero I suppose. Not yet anyway. Yes there's a difference between hero and idol. I guess maybe she's a bit of both.
Tyra Banks is a great person. She does a talk show, acts, has a tv reality show, sings, dances, models, and most of all stands for women everywhere. She helps lots of people and I think she's way cool. I would love to meet her someday. She inspires me to have more confidence and to be myself. Also not to care what others think.

If I could meet anyone in life...it would be Angelina Jolie...I have a great amount of love and respect for her...she's a strong woman who is NOT affraid to do and say as she pleases, ever.
Idol, Hero, Icon...
probably all of the above.
