The Whitehouse that is.
I write to pose this question...
A woman in the Whitehouse...What do you think and why?
This is not meant to be a debate, I'm just curious as to what the readers here think and what they believe will happen to our country as we know it. Me personally?, I'd love to see a female running things for a while, just to see what will happen next to our country, it's relations and the war thats going on right now. I do have high hopes.

Very true! Also, ALL presidents have their pros and cons! I just think it would be a breath of fresh air to have someone different (not just cuz she has breasts) than the regular old presidents we've always had. They all pretty much look the same! ;D

A woman president? Yes, I could get behind that, if it was the right woman. My worry is that woman become squeamish when something dirty has to be done, and I don't want to worry about if she can do it or not. Unfortunately, sometimes we have to do things we don't want to do, war for example. I don't know anybody that wants to fight a war, but it is necessary. America has been freeing people all over the world since it's beginning. Check your history. We stand where everyone else folds. We bring good to a huge amount of people, unfortunately, sometimes that is through war.

If you're talking about Hilary Clinton, I'm for it. After all, she did help Bill run his 8 years. ;D

Also, when it comes to fighting, women can be even more brutal than men. I think it's a great idea, but yes it should be the RIGHT woman. It's hard to tell who's going to be a great pres whether man or woman, black, asian, or white. I think we should give her a chance.

Ya know, that was said about women senators and women governers, and we have those. Some have done good, others not so good. Pretty even tie with men there.
In response to Randy, I'd like to ask that he name "Him". I'd like to see a man do a good job. *shrugs*
It's all a gamble when you elect anyone. Will they follow through on their campaign promises? Who knows. Will they do as they say they will do? Your guess is as good as mine.

I'm sure there are women capable of the presidency, but we as a nation aren't quite ready for it. When the time comes, I pray to God that it isn't Hilliary Clinton, if it is, I will be taking a 4-8 year fishing tour in Canada and you're all invited!

I'd join you for that trip! I'm all for a woman president. But definitely not that woman.
On a side note, I'm starting to think that this topic should be moved over to the politics area.

Meh, I don't know if it should be moved. It is, after all, a thread about a woman, not necessarily Hilary. If we wanted to debate just Hilary, then I say it goes in Politics. But as long as it's pretty much on the topic of sexes in the white house, it seems better here.
